I just went through and updated a ton of stuff in our GAL and in cached mode I don't see the changes, when I switch out of cache mode I do see the changes. Go back to cache mode again and changes don't appear again...Why?

All of our users use cache mode so I really need this to work...?

Thanks!

1) Outlook 2003 only downloads/refreshes the offline address book once every 24 hours. (cached mode uses the offline address book)

2) The default out-of-the-box configuration of Exchange 2003 rebuilds the offline address book at 4AM.

So, for highly volatile global address lists, the site needs to increase how often Exchange 2003 rebuilds the offline address book and configure a send/receive group in Outlook 2003 to sync the offline address book a little more often if every 24 hours isn't sufficient.
