I am in a Business Computers Application course in college and I am
stuck. I have to find the percentage of something. In cell B42 there
is the number '90', in cell B41 there is the number '34'..Long story
short, I have to divide B41 by B42 to get the percent I need. But it
wont let me do it, I think because the answer is less than zero. Does
anyone know how to help me?!

Hi

???!!!
=B41/B42
and format the cell with formula as percentage.

And how'll you get there the result less than zero? It's >1 or >100% percent
instead!

Arvi Laanemets

=B41/B42

Then, right click on the cell containing this formula. This will
format the answer as a percentage.

Format Cells > Number Tab > Percentage.
