dear all

I have one column in excel sheet filled in dates from 1/1/2007 till 31/12/2007
in second column sales figures for each date

I want a formula to sum all sales figures in June only moth or August month

Please help

It does work if you have REAL dates in col A and figures to sum in col B!
Exactly what did you do?
 
Then, if is still "doesn't work", you need to fully explain what that means
along with posting YOUR formula.
