Is it possible to search for information in multiple
worksheets within a workbook at the same time rather going
into the individual tabs and using ctrl-F.

Could you advise please?

Yes, using Group mode:
Select each of your sheets by clicking on their tabs and keep pressing
<CTRL> key
then do your search
