i am applying for a job that desires excel knowledge, yet
i have microsoft word on my computer. do you think i
would know enough about the programs to qualify for the
job? what is the difference in excel and word? thanks

That's like trying to compare the skills needed to
operate dragster and an 18-wheeler.

Two completely different programs.

If you really have to ask what the difference between Word and Excel is, then
you definately do not have the qualifications necessary.

It sounds like you have never opened up Word ---- or is it Works that you have
on your computer at home.

Do yourself a favor.... go to your local Community College and enroll in some
software classes and learn the programs.
