Excel Update Links Message

Is there a way to disable the ". . this workbook contains links . . do you wish to update these links". I have disable (UnClicked) the "Update Remote Links" and it keeps defaulting back to (Clicked).

But I have a lot of people using this and I am the only one that can update it and it is becoming an annoyance to them to keep seeing that message

Did you try Tools|Options Edit tab uncheck 'Ask to updated automatic
links'?
