Hi community,

I have one large list (database like), which I use for overviewing m
data. From this list I created several smaller sublists in differen
documents. I did that just by copy paste the appropriate rows. I woul
although like Excel to create its own sublists by using certai
criteria. Any suggestions on how to do this procedure, so tha
automatically the sublist in the new sheet (preferably in a new doc) i
always up to date?
Now I would like to link those small sublist documents with the on
large list. And that in a way that I can both change my data in th
one large list as in the smaller sublists...a two-way link I call this
Changes in the one should therefor immediately be reflected in change
in the other.

Can anyone help me on this one?
Tnx a lot!

By "list" I presume you mean a table with a row of headings and dat
underneath. If so, this is a good start.

From there I suggest you set up some pivot tables to analyse your data
(using a page field)

If you need to set up reports from this, do not try to format the pivo
tables, but link them to separate sheets with functions lik
VLOOKUP().

Also have a look at ata/Autofilter
