Excel Toolbar vanished

the toolbar in my excel has vanished!
There is no toolbar or shortcut bar.
I've tried Alt V and Alt F but nothing works.
Can anyone tell me how I can restore that toolbar??

put the cursor in the toolbar area and right click.
Select from the toolbars that you want.

If you still have the file toolbar you can go to view-
toolbars, otherwise try resizing you worksheet, it may
just be hidden.

Thanks guys for your tips - however, theproblem is that
there is NO toolbar, no nothing. basically, if Excel is
open, there is only the little coloured "bar" on the top -
right hand with the min/max/close buttons, left the Excel
sign.
I've tried all the shortcuts on teh keyboard, but nithing
helps. There's no View, File or anything. If right
clicking the coloured "bar", it only gives me the option
of min/max/close...

I'd really appreciate your help/tips as I've been unable
to do any work in Excel for the last few days!
