Is there any way to input a timestamp into excel that doesn't change.
I am trying to track when data is input into a cell and all the
timestamps I have found will refresh everytime the spread sheet is
opened. I need a static date and time for when a cell is changed. I
would like to use an if statement in aeperate cell where if cell a1
has something typed in it, it will display the date and time. Now()
funtion changed everytime the cell is changed.

If anyone has a solution, please inform me.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks, Your link worked great, especially under the "Using a
worksheet event macro". It gave me exactly what I was looking for.
Sorry for the delayed response I had another project to work on.
