Has anyone come across a excell worksheet that can work out daily or monthly
compound interest on a loan with a function for missed or varying monthly
payments.

There wouldn't be "a function" per se. But do you really mean that
you want a template for an amortization schedule that would allow for
missed payments and varying payments?

The latter would not be too difficult to incorporate into a properly
designed amortization schedule template. The problem is: the ones
that I have seen are not "properly" designed. Are you looking for a
turn-key solution, or are you willing to build it yourself, with
guidance if needed?

Moreover, there are additional details of the loan agreement that
would have to be incorporated into the amortization schedule. Or
would you be satisfied with a "first approximation" that does not take
late fees into account?
