excel - SQL

Is it possible to have a worksheet that when a user opens it, the data
displayed is pulled from a table in SQL? Also, if they change something in
that worksheet, it will save the changes in teh SQL table?

I would be easier if could use Microsoft Access. The Micrsoft Access has the
upsizing tool to Microsoft SQL Server, where you can linked tables.. This way
you can transform data from Excel-Access-SQL Server. The data is cleaned for
accuracy.

It would easier and comfortable, if you use Microsoft Excel-Access-SQL
Server. The tranformation of data across the Access and SQL is accurate
because of the Upsizing tool availabe in Access. You can have linked table
between Access and SQL Server.

I wish to also like to use a similar arrangement.

On an excel sheet there are various cells that requires an entry from a drop
down list which will get it's data from an Access query. A selection in one
cell will change the result set that is available in a related cell. I
understand that it may be easier to do this in Access, but I wish to keep
this on Excel as all the forms used for this are existing as Excel sheets.
Excel data validation drop downs will fit square in a cell vs a combo box
which will need sizing to adjust to the cell height and width.
