excel spreadsheet print functions

I have Vista ultimate operating system. Each time I want to print the excel
spreadsheet an error stating microsoft works 8 has stopped working. It then
gives me some direction to the microsoft website, which I could not figure
out. Can you help me? Thank you.
 
Works 8 has nothing to do with Excel.

Work 8 has its own spreadsheet application but that is not Excel.

Are you trying to print a Works 8 sheet or an Excel sheet?

Works 8 news group may be a place to post.
