Excel saved as Word

A colleague opened a spreadsheet in Word, made changes and
saved it. Now it cannot be opened in Excel and only the
first Worksheet is available. Anyone dealt with this?

Yup - killed the colleague.

Not much you can do unless you have a backup.

Ways of dealing with colleague:-

Tools / Options / Autocorrect or Tools / Autocorrect Options

Put a 1 in and have it change to a 9
Put a 2 in and have it change to a 9
Put a 3 in and have it change to a 9
Put a 4 in and have it change to a 9
..
..
..
Put a 9 in and have it change to a 1

You get the drift.

Also, Tools / Options / International / View Current Sheet right to left

Or

Tools / Options / Edit / Fixed Decimal places - Tick and put in 2.

Wait 1 day then put them out of their misery.
