Is there a way to use Excel live within a Powerpoint slide? Fo
instance, can a spreadsheet be embedded in a Powerpoint presentation s
that a working computation input/output box is visible in the slide a
it's being presented? I'd like to be able to change pricing on the fl
as I'm showing the customer, but not have to switch back and forth t
Excel to do it

T,

You can embed an Excel workbook in a PowerPoint slide. Select the cells in
the worksheet, then paste into the slide using Edit - Paste Special -
Microsoft Excel object. I don't have any real experience with it, but will
point out these things: Where you've embedded it, you'll see the cells you
selected when you embedded. But you'll have to double-click it into Edit
Mode to be able to interact with it (change cell contents, etc.). While in
Edit Mode, you'll have access to the entire workbook (it doesn't just embed
the cells you originally selected). This includes all the worksheets. If
you move around, the cells you see will be what are visible at the time you
come out of Edit Mode.
