Excel not working correctly

We have a pc here that does not operate correctly when
using Excel. She can't run queries from templates or even
worksheets that have calculations in them. If she uses
them then they won't work anymore on other pc's. Her
computer seems to be very strange. For some reasons the
formulas in excel are not the same. They do not work in
hers so we have to change them. Example, it should bring
information from other cells and use the average formula.
It will not work in certain areas so we had to create a
formula manually that adds the cells together and then
divides by the number of cells for the average.

She receives an error for the queries as well and we've
tried verifying she has a full install of Excel, we've
updated her MDAC, and nothing has worked. Has anyone ever
seen anything like this or know of a way to fix her pc?
It only seems to happen when using Excel though. We
haven't noticed any problems with any other applications.

Chicken bones, garlic, and ritual chanting come to mind...

I would consider a complete reinstall.
 
Hi Trisha!

Apart from JE's chicken bones, garlic, and ritual chanting. I'd
suggest that you take a look at the Regional settings and see if they
are your standard ones.

Another possibility is that some darned fool has been at the Tools >
Autocorrect options and put in some substitutions that are playing
around with entries.
