Hi. I'm having a problem with a menu option in Excel 97. I am running
Excel 97 in Windows 2000 Server with full admin rights. The following
is a sequence of events which have led me to reqest help. I have a750
horse machine with 256 megs of RAM. I have two HD's, a 4. GB c: and
30 GB d:.
I first installed Excel 97 on the d:. Whenever I attempted to open the
option menu he program abended. I rebuilt the entire machine
andinstaled all Offic 97 on the c: and everything was fine. However
there was too much softwreon the c: and there was insufficent swap
space. I uninstalled Office 97 from the c: and reinstalled on the
d:.
Again the program abended whenever I attempted to open the options
seletion on the tools menu. I have concluded this is a bug in Excel.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a work around? I am not
unfmiliar withregistry hacks so if tha is required, so be it. Can
anyone help with this problem? Any help wuld be appreciated. Than you
in advance.
