This may help but it doesn't really answer your question
as stated:
I haven't seen this situation quite the way you describe
it, nor can I replicate it. I have see it when the cell
in question shows ### when trying to increase its size,
and this is due to the cell width being too small to
contain the text at its set font size. Several options
if this is the case.
1. Increase the cell width to accommodate the text.
(Format, Column, Width)
2. Set the cell options to 'shrink to fit'. (Format,
Cell, Alignment, Shrink to fit)
3. Decrease the font of the cell in question. (Format,
Cell, Font, change size)
Good luck
Jeff

No it shouldn't be. The number of characters in the
value effect the cell size. If the formula value's
characters is greater than the size of the cell it will
show #####'s. If this is the case you will have to size
the font of the value to the cells column width or
increase the column with to accomadate the value.

Jeff, does the size of the formula with regard to a high number of characters
effect the cell size? The formula in question is quite large and results in
a small answer. I can't resize the cell appropriately. Do you think the
formula is the culprit?
