Excel financial spreadsheets

I am trying to put together an aggregate workbook, linking
the financials from three different locations. I put in
the formula, linking the specific cell from each workbook,
but when I try to copy and paste that formula it will not
carry the formula down the column, it only copies the sum
from the copied cell. Is there a way to copy and past
down a column a formula linking three different worksheets?
 
Its most likely weighed down with the $ sign. Whenever you link to another
workbook, excel automatically adds them. Just remove the dollar signs from
your formula and then they should copy down correctly.
