Excel file with Outlook header

Someone saved an Excel file with Office 2003 and when the Office 2007 users
open the file, it contains an e-mail header. What causes this?
 
Have the person with Excel 2003 open it, click File, Send, e-mail to
toggle it back off. And then save it.
