I have a PowerPoint97 presentation that has a link to an
Excel spreadsheet. Is there a way to hide or bypass the
initial prompt that is displayed in PowerPoint asking, "Do
you want to update links now?"
When the presentation is saved as a .pps, it doesn't
prompt to update the links; unfortunately, the linked data
is not the most current data. The default is to always
accept the updated link. Without doing any extensive
coding, is there a way to accomplish this so I don't have
to see the prompt and click "yes" each time the
presentation is opened?
Thanks.
