I have Excel 97-SR2(m)on a Windows NT4 Sp6a workstation.
Everytime I open an specific workbook this is opened twice.

This file is located in a network folder. No macros in the
workbook.

Any idea about why this behaviour?.

Thanks,
Ivan.-

If one has :1 at the end and the other has :2 at the end, then what has happened is that either
intentionally or unintentionally, someone has used the feature Window / New Window which will
allow you to see two copies of the same workbook at the same time (Can be very useful sometimes as
you can tile the windows). When a file is saved in this mode it will always open in this mode.
You need to close one of the windows using the X (Not the Excel Application X, but the file window
X). Once you have done this, save the file. Now close and reopen and you will be fine.
