excel error

while opeining excel file error " compile error invalid outside procedure"
only for this particular file remaining files opening fine.

Please suggest or advise for the same

The post does not give much information regarding the affecte
workbook.
Do you have macros or vba code in this workbook, and do you know how t
check to see if a problem has been created with a misplaced line, or a
accidentally deleted Sub or End Sub etc ?

Any other clues ?
