Excel Equation Blank cells until input is added

I am creating a calculator of sorts. I have a row of 5 cells that are
involved. The first 2 cells are have my data, the next two cells are results
& the last cell is my input. I want the "result" cells to look blank until I
add data into the "input" cell. Can this be done?
