Excel Countif but with multiple conditions

I just worked it out in a two step process.

Firstly, you can use the Advanced Filter to filter all scores => 10. In
cells A1 and A2 (they can be any cells) type into cell A1 Mark (this
should correspond to the title you used for what I assume are the test
scores) and cell A2 =>10. Then highlight your data range including the
titles. Then go into menu Data> Filter> Advanced Filter. The List Range
should already be populated with the correct range where you have
highlighted the data. In the Criteria Range highlight cells A1 and A2.
Then click the radio box Copy to another location. Then you should be
able to enter into Copy to. Just select a cell where the column is blank
(and the column next to it). Then press OK.

This should give you all the scores which are equal to or above 10. Then
just do your countif on the names in the new list you created with the
filter.

You do this by highlighting the data range. Then in any blank cells (but
I will use cells A1 and A2 for this example) put in cell A1 Mark then in
cell A2 =>10. In the advanced filter
