excel 97 - title bar missing

Hi all

can anybody help with what seems like a simple problem?
A colleague of mine is using Office 97, however, whenever
she uses Excel, the title bar at the top of the screen
disappears, so the 'minimise, maximise and restore'
buttons to control the application cannot be seen, just
the ones that would control the active workbook.

It doesnt happen in anything else, just Excel.

Any ideas?
