Hi there I am unable to find the command "assign macro" to the command
button when I use it in a spreadsheet.
Is this only available in certain versions .

There are two toolbars that contain buttons.

The Forms toolbar has the button you wanted to use.

You used a commandbutton from the Control toolbox toolbar.
