Excel 2003 US Map

I create alot of geographical maps from data used in Excel. Prior to
upgrading to Office/Excel 2003 it was not a problem to add the "map"
function. Now I cannot figure out how to create a US map using data. Can
anyone assist??

Microsoft has discontinued the provision of Map as feature of Excel (I
think in Excel 2000 or Excel 2002).
 
Office applications now interact with MapPoint, which you have to purchase.
