excel 2002

My menu for file, edit, view, tools, format, etc. etc. are missing, I don't
know what happened or how to get them back, the only way I can use items, is
by customizing a tool bar. But that creates a mess. How do I get the options
back, I tried deleting program and reinstalling, but it still comes back
missing all my tool bars.

what version xl do you have?
do you have any toolbars or are they all gone?
