Excel 2002 hotfix june 7, 2003

Microsoft has a hotfix I need. It involves Excel
spreadsheets on a server that also runs services that
constantly modify time stamps such as Print services for
McIntosh. My spreadsheet constantly thinks someone else
either has it open or has made changes and prompts the
user to save it with another name.

Microsoft has a fix for this but does not offer it up to
download. I don't think I should have to pay them for a
fix that is their problem.

Does anyone have this fix? If so, I would really
appreciate it you would send it to me at
(e-mail address removed).
 
If the hotfix applies to you, you won't be charged.

In addition, it's a violation of the hotfix license to distribute it
outside the organization it was provided to. From MS's site:
Hotfixes are distributed by Microsoft Product Support Services.
Customers may not redistribute hotfixes without written, legal
consent from Microsoft.

Thanks for the info. I called Microsoft and your were
right. The support person was very nice and helpful. I
was emailed the fix immediately AT NO CHARGE......and I
WASN'T EVEN PUT ON HOLD!!!!!
