Exceedeing the 7 conditions in a nesting fomula

How can I exceed the 7 conditions that is the maximum number of conditions
alowed? Can I string together more then one set of 7 conditions?

In most cases, over 7 nested if formulae can be replaced wih HLOOKUP or
VLOOKUP

Please post your formula.
