Does anyone use FP to develop sites without themes and without shared
borders etc and without building initial navigation with FP ... just start
with a blank page? Can you show me examples?
Thanks, Eleanor

I would think that many, many folks do. One example, of many, I have is
www.dynamite-it.com which doesn't use themes or shared borders or FP
navigation at all. I rarely use themes, sometimes use shared borders - but
more often use include pages and most often don't use FP navigation either -
however... I do find good uses for FP navigation on some of the sites that I
do. Another one I have worked with is www.anybackpage.com - but again I
could probably list a hundred sites that fit the no themes/no shared border/
started with a blank page criteria.

No themes, no FP navigation. I have a template that I use
for each page that has the javascript navigation and
background already set. The only CSS which is used is on
the monthly calendar, which is done with Outlook 2000.

Only a small percentage of FrontPage Web sites use themes,
shared borders, nav view, and link bars.

Most designers quickly outgrow these features and do their
own thing.

For many years I've used linked style sheets to apply
uniform formatting, and Include Page components to
replicate page headers and sig lines.
Can you show me examples?

You can look at my site, http://www.interlacken.com. Keep
in mind, however, that this isn't a "vanilla" FrontPage
site. It includes a lot of ASP.NET stuff I programmed in
Visual Studio.
