I have saved a tested copy of XPe that I have used successfully
several times on stand ide drives, flash drive in a 2.5 inch ide form
factor, and a compact flash.

I an currently attemting to use the same image on a 512mb compact
flash that has been reconfigured usnig the manufacture's utility to be
identified as a fixed drive (not removealbe.

The command ewfmgr c: -commit fails with the following message.
"Failed getting
protected volume configuration with error 1." I have repartition the
drive and the message persists.

Any ideas?

Hi Dan,

Do you use same pre FBA or post FBA image.
What EWF overlay type do you use RAM (Configured trough registry or trough hidden partition) or Disk based?

How did you copied hidden EWF config partition?
