When I run CMD and digit efwmgr c: - enable appears this
error message. Failed getting protected volume
configuration with error 1. I have add all EWF component
in the project but EWF doesn't function.

Thank you

Use Google and search this group for EWF and CF.
Running a CF card or HD?
RAM based EWF?
If RAM based on CF, is CF set as Basic and not removable?
If set as Basic, did you partition to allow extra space or use Slobodan's
EWF method.

I'm sure you'll find your answers if you look.
BTW, if you don't have it already, order Windows XP Embedded advanced from
Amazon.

I have got the same problem, the EWF macanism is not activated (or not fully
installed) on your device.

Try to add the followings components to your image.
- EWF Manager Console application
- Enhanced Write Filter

- EWF NTLDR

- PnP (User-mode)

Edit "Enhanced Write Filter" component settings to configure ewf mecanism on
your drives. And disable it at startup :

Start EWF Enabled = FALSE

After the FBA reboot sequence, you have to enable ewf with the ewfmgr
(ewfmgr <drive>: -enable) and then reboot to make changes take effects.

Now your drive is protected by ewf.
