EWF dont Works with a Altiris Deployment Server

Hello,

on 140 HP Thin Clients (TC) work the EWF without a
problem, when we use the EWF manuell.
When we use a script from Altiris Deployment Server to
enable or disable the EWF, the EWF it doesn`t work.

Are you using Altiris to capture and deploy and image, or just apply updates to a box?

Hello Toni,

we using Altiris to capture and Image. In the future we
want use Altiris to apply updates.
In this time we want change a Reg Key
(DisableChangePassword), but it dont works when we use a
script to disable the EWF.

Rather than trying to disable EWF, have you tried simply committing the overlay after you make your change

Apply your change, then run "ewfmgr.exe -commit c:" (from the altiris script) and reboot your system. The change should be persistent.
