Event viewer will not log events

I have a Windows 2000 server that will not log any events
from the event viewer? The services is started and
running. Any ideas?

What events? Anything at all or just in the security log? If nothing is
being recorded in the other logs, you may have corrupt file logs. Otherwise
you need to first enable audting of security events. You can check the Local
Security Policy for auditing and look at "efffective settings" to see if
audting is enabled on that computer. --- Steve
