I keep constantly getting error 7000:service control manager failed loading
PCAMPR5 NDIS PROTOCIOL DRIVER:FILE MISSING.so I went to command prompt like
help said and ran scquery and my WIN32_EXIT_CODE is zero so I know SCM didnt
try to start it because the error had already happened but thats as far as I
can get on this problem.I just reset my computer the other day so I am
completely lost on this problem.someone please help me here.I appreciate
immensely any help I can get here.

Research suggests this is referring to a missing network driver. Perhaps
pcampr5.sys and there is some connection to ndis.vxd or symndis.vxd.

Are you using or have you been using any Norton / Symantec products?

Hope this helps.

Please provide a list of the Symantec / Norton products / version you
have installed.

Please provide an exact copy of the Event Viewer message. Advice on how
to do this follows.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools,
Event Viewer.
When researching the meaning of the error, information regarding Event
ID, Source
and Description are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308427&Product=winxp

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the
error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two
pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now start your
message
(email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This will paste the
info from the
Event Viewer Error Report complete with links into the message. Make
sure this is
the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer.
