| For some reason I can no longer view the Event Viewer logs
| for Application and System. I have been able to view
| these logs up until now. I have no idea as to why I can't
| now and have no idea as to how to correct the problem. My
| user account has administrator rights.

| Please help.

Hi Tim,
What kind of error do you see when you attempt to open either the System or
Application log?
Here are some things to check on:
1. Can you try to open one of these logs after logging in with the default
Administrator account?
2. Can you check the permissions on the %windir%\System32\Config folder?
3. Check for the presence of the event logs (*.evt) in this folder:
4. What permissions are set for these files?
5. Try to rename these files and restart Windows to see if the symptom
changes.
