Everyone,

I am doing some work for a customer of mine. They are experiencing an issue
on their corporate file server.

Event ID: 2022
Source: Srv
Description: Server was unable to find a free connection n times in the last
seconds seconds.

Originally they made all the changed suggested by Microsoft to modify the
setting of the maxfreeconnections bla bla bla. They even went as far as
upgrading the hardware. After the upgrade the issue went away for a couple of
months but now it is back. What happens is people are actually getting kicked
off the server when this happens.

I am trying to find out if Microsoft Windows 2000 Server has a known issue
with concurrent connections or if there is a limit. I have not been able to
find any of this information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
