Event ID 1411 NTDS Replication

I receive the following event ID errors/warnings in my directory service logs. At this point I have been unable to resolve nor have I found any postings regarding this

Event ID: 141
Source: NTDS Replicatio
Type: Erro

The Directory Service failed to construct a mutual authentication Service Principal Name (SPN) for server OCEASERVER. The call is denied. The error was:
A Service Principal Name (SPN) could not be constructed because the provided hostname is not in the necessary format

The record data is the status code.

and

Event ID: 165
Source: NTDS Genera
Type: Warnin
Category: Global Catalo

The attempt to communicate with global catalog \\%servername% failed with the following status

A Service Principal Name (SPN) could not be constructed because the provided hostname is not in the necessary format

The operation in progress might be unable to continue. The directory service will use the locator to try find an available global catalog server for the next operation that requires one

The record data is the status code

Any help would be greatly appreciated - cheers

Hi ,

I hope you should be aware of Knowledge Base Article of Microsoft ,
they talk extensively on different error mesages and how to fix them. In
case if you come up with any Error msg , the Best bet online is the KB
articles ...!!
