I recently installed the driver for a Network ethernet card in my toshiba
laptop, but the driver does not work, in hardware and devices show me a
yellow mark, that mean that the hardware is not working, I try with
different drivers and does not work, nothing change,
here is the code problem in the hardware devices: "here is the code: This
device is not working properly because Windows cannot
load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

what can I do??? thank
you for anyone answer me.

Windows 2000 doesn't really need a driver for the card.

What I suggest you do is go to the makers website & download the correct
(latest) driver for the card.

If you post your card details; model; make... then we'll do our best to help
you.

One thing maybe worth a try is to go into Device Manager/Hardware &
right-click the network card & choose UNINSTALL. Reboot Windows & let Windows
try & install the card. You maybe fortunate enough to get it to install
correctly.
