EssentialPIM- final release

Hello everyone,

EssentialPIM has been mentioned several times in this group already. I
just wanted to let everyone know that today we have released a final
version, 1.0. It has no new features, but all known bugs fixed.
EssentialPIM is a true Freeware PIM, praised for quality and feature
richness.

After installing, and starting, I get a message box that says that the program
is running in compatibility mode, then it just sits there, forever, until I
use the task manager to kill it.

I got a pop-up error message...and I wasn't tempted enough by what I
saw to persue the matter.

What did the message say? Do you have IE installed?

I can't now recall - but I do recall that trying to save Options to a
file caused an error pop-up too.

W98SE + IE6 SP1 + cummulative updates

Hmm, I don't have IE installed as my default browser, but rather Firefox. I
do have IE installed, and I noticed that there was some kind of
__EX. something process running alongside of essentialpim, but I just killed
it and moved along...
