not able tosave files over the network and files are opening as read only

Hello,

Probably the network administrator did not enable write permissions to that
drive.

Copy the file to your desktop and open from there.

Rightclick the files>Sharing and Security>click Allow network users to
to change my files>Apply>OK. Then you can edit, delete and/or save files.
