I am running Windows ME

I am connected to NetZero 7.0 but cannot access any browsers i.e. Explorer
6.0 or Firefox and cannot access Outlook Express 6


The following is Explorer 6 error:
The page cannot be displayed
The following is Firefox 1.0 error:

The connection was refused when attempting to contract the proxy server you
have configured. Please check your proxy settings and try again.

The following are Outlook Express errors:

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'EJ', Server:
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail,
Server Response: '', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12029, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0E

Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. Account: 'EJ',
Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol:
HTTPMail, Server Response: '', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12029,
Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
 
Sounds like you've got no connection at all then. Contact your ISP to make
sure there are no connection issues and that all your connection settings
are correct.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
