errors in event viewer, system tab (XP home)

I keep getting the following error

"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s)
failed to load:
ASPI32"

How do I fix this? The Event ID is 7026, and the source
is service control manager.

Additionally, how can I remove a program from being
loaded by the Service Control Manager? I have a program
that keeps loading but I can't uninstall it (IPODsrv.exe)

Can anyone help
