Error when shutting down "svhost.exe"

I am getting an error message when shutting down or restarting my computer.
As far as I can read, it’s a common error but; it doesn’t stay on the screen
long enough to write down the exact error. It’s a module error in such an
address caused by svhost.exe as far as I can tell. Can anyone point me in
right directions to start hunting down and killing of this error? I know
there are multiple sessions of svhost.exe loaded in process!

svhost.exe is a trojan horse. Please run a virus scan and follow the advice
to remove it.
 
Pardon me but, all references to svhost where ment to read svchost instead!
Thanks, I was not aware of this other file name and it's association to a
virus! Thanks again
