Error when sending distribution list

I get the following error: internal support returned an error

When I am wanting to send an email in a distribution list.

Any ideas
 
Version of Outlook? Type of mail account?

If you're on a network connecting to an Exchange server, do you have
permission to send to the distribution list? Is the DL internal or external?
 
If this is a personal distribution list, make sure you don't have any
duplicate entries. Try recreating it.

If you have an Exchange mail account, access the contact list, then the
Distribution List and click "Update Now"
