Hello

I am getting a wierd error on my XP box.

I cannot do a dir \\test\testDir\ at the command prompt. I can do a
net use an map that path and browse it. I can map it using the windows
explorer too.. but when I do a dir \\test\testDir\ I get the following
error -
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

This message looks like a very common error and people are getting it
a variety of scenarios.. if somone already faced a similar problem
please let me know..

Browsing through the groups some one suggested spyware presence so
cleaned it up.. no effect..

Thanks,
Srinivas
