Error trying to export messages

I am trying to use the export messages function in Outlook
express to move my messages to another computer. I am
getting an error message that says "Error occurred
initializing MAPI". I've searched the FAQs, etc but I
can't find a solution to this problem. Has anyone seen
this before and know how to resolve? This is a Win 98
system with Outlook Express V6. I get the same error on
my WinXP system using Outlook Express V6. Thanks.

That's because the Export function in OE only exports to Outlook or
Exchange. In fact it tells you so when you click on the function.
