Error: "The OLE server may not be registered"

I have an Access 2003 database form containing a bound object frame. The
object inserted is an Adobe Acrobat 7.0 document.
When the frame is double clicked then the object is opened successfully.
However when the document is closed and thus expecting to return to Access
then the following message is received:

"The operation on the Acrobat document failed.
The OLE server may not be registered
To register the OLE Server, reinstall it"

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Try re-installing Adobe Acrobat. If that doesn't work, try using the Foxit
PDF Reader ActiveX Control. The standard reader is free, and includes a
limited version of the ActiveX control:
