Hello
I get an error that my profile can't be loaded at logon. After the logon
completes I don't see any difference with logons before the error.

I think you'd better go like:
Run> mmc >
File>Add/REmoveSnapIn> (you choose Local Users and Groups >
then you douuble click your user name in your right panel
(probably your account is set to load a profile from some
shared folder on a computer, maybe even yours. After you
double click the user , go to the tab "Profile" and make
sure "Local Path" will be checked (you'll see something
different there already checked )

The "Local Path" was already checked. Nothing different was already checked.
Should I enter a path in the "Local Path"?

The exact error is: "User Environment
Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the
default profile for the system."
But Windows has logged me on not with the default profile for the system,
but my profile.

DETAIL - Not enough storage is available to process this command.

The error could appear after some manipulations with Security properties of
the c:\documents and setting\account name.

Windows has logged me on not with the default profile for the system, but my
profile, in spite of the error message. how to get rid of the message?

Logon to another account with admin privilege and run System Restore.
Choose the most recent restore point and SR should restore the user
hives.

Or...

Boot into safe mode and log in as Administrator. Copy ntuser.dat from
%windir%\repair to "Documents and Settings\[your user id]". Now do a system
restore to a point in time prior to when the corruption message began to
appear.

Or...

Relocate NTUserdat

Look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and find the profile you want to change and
then change ProfileImagePath to the ntuser.dat folder that you want to use.
You must manually copy or move the ntuser.dat file there.

The error could appear after some manipulations with Security properties of
the c:\documents and setting\account name and C:\My documents under the
Administrator account. I could prevent the error by fixing the Security
properties. What the Security properties should be for a successful logon?

Adding "System" to "Security" of c:\documents and settings\my profile and
giving full control prevented the error. Had I to give a full control or I
could give less control?
